Venezuela Gives Visa Waiver to Koreans

The Venezuelan government has given a visa exemption to South Koreans visiting the country for tourism purposes, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade said Sunday. Venezuela has implemented the measure since April 18 that allows South Korean tourists to enter and stay for up to 90 days without a visa, the ministry said. The visa waiver program was launched by the South American nation to mark the 40th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries, which fell on April 29, it said.
